As Category Sourcing Manager (m/f/d) for Plastics, you will shape global sourcing strategies, lead international teams, and build strong partnerships that make a measurable impact on our business worldwide. The position can be based in Kórnik, Tychy, Bierun, Obernai or Blieskastel. 

Your role

• Own and drive the global sourcing strategy for the plastics category (plastics, chemicals, PVC), aligned with our business and sustainability ambitions
• Lead, coach, and develop an international sourcing organization, empowering teams to perform and grow
• Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships, acting as a trusted interface and negotiation lead.
• Collaborate closely with global stakeholders across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and R&D to unlock value and competitive advantage.
• Drive cost, performance, and risk management initiatives across the global supply base
• Anticipate market developments and translate insights into resilient, future-oriented sourcing decisions

What you bring

• A degree in business administration or a comparable qualification
• Solid experience in category sourcing or strategic procurement within an international environment
• A strong leadership mindset and experience in leading teams within complex, global organizations
• Strategic thinking, negotiation strength, and the ability to influence at all levels
• Excellent communication skills in English, additional languages are an advantage
• A structured, analytical, and solution-driven approach
• Willingness to travel within Europe
