As a Marketing Automation Platform Specialist (m/f/d), you will report to the Digital Customer Relationship Manager in the Global Marketing & Digital department based in Obernai (67) or Paris (75) for a permanent contract.

Mission

The Marketing Automation Platform Specialist is responsible for the technical administration, configuration, and continuous optimization of the marketing automation ecosystem. Acting as the bridge between marketing, sales, and digital platforms, the role ensures the reliability of data flows, integrations, automation programs, and platform performance while supporting advanced campaign execution and customer engagement initiatives.

This position combines technical expertise in marketing automation platforms with a strong understanding of B2B marketing and sales processes, ensuring that business objectives are effectively translated into scalable and reliable automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• As the technical referent of the marketing automation platform (Oracle Eloqua), build, configure, and maintain the backend architecture, programs, and assets.
• Manage and monitor integrations between Eloqua, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, websites, customer databases, and other marketing technology systems to ensure seamless and reliable data exchange.
• Maintain and optimize data flows, lead scoring models, segmentation rules, campaign automation workflows, and related platform configurations.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across the marketing ecosystem by proactively identifying and resolving data-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the marketing automation platform, integrations, and data processing, acting as the Level 3 support expert.
• Support Marketing Automation Specialists and campaign teams in the implementation of advanced automation scenarios, complex nurture programs, and sophisticated segmentation requirements.
• Ensure GDPR, consent management, and data governance configurations are properly implemented and maintained across all automation processes
• Develop and maintain platform monitoring processes, system health controls, and technical performance reporting to guarantee operational stability.
• Monitor sender reputation and ensure email infrastructure reliability and deliverability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration specifications, platform architecture descriptions, data flow diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, CRM, Digital, and external partners to continuously improve marketing technology capabilities and campaign effectiveness.

Key Deliverables

• Stable and reliable integrations between Eloqua and connected platforms (CRM, SCV, Website, and other systems).
• Efficient and scalable backend automation programs and workflows.
• High-quality, compliant, and accurate marketing data flows.
• Up-to-date technical documentation and platform architecture references.
• Data flow mapping and integration documentation.
• System health monitoring reports and optimization recommendations.

Profile

What about you?

• Master's degree in Marketing Technology, Digital Marketing, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Management, or a related field from a business school, university, or engineering school.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in Marketing Automation, CRM Operations, Marketing Technology (MarTech), Customer Data Management, or related technical marketing functions.
• Strong hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, ideally Oracle Eloqua; experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a significant advantage.
• Proven expertise in platform configuration, data integration, workflow automation, lead management processes, and marketing data quality management.
• Good understanding of API-based integrations, customer data flows, lead lifecycle management, and marketing technology ecosystems.
• Ability to diagnose and solve technical issues while translating business requirements into scalable marketing automation solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a focus on operational excellence and reliability.
• Comfortable interacting with both technical and business stakeholders, acting as a bridge between marketing needs and platform capabilities.
• Good understanding of B2B marketing and sales processes, with the ability to align automation capabilities with business objectives.
• Fluent in English; French or German is a strong plus.
