Finance Specialist - Intercompany (f/m/d)

About the role:
Hager Business Services sp. z o.o. is an entity dedicated to provide shared services to Hager Group companies worldwide. Currently, we support functions such as Finance, Controlling, HR, IT and Engineering.

Your mission

The Finance department continues its Transformation Journey, which is based on three pillars: Organization, Digitalization and Harmonization. In this framework, our goal is to create more value for the business through centralized and high-quality intercompany data.


As an Accounting Specialist | Intercompany (m/f/d), you will support this transformation by contributing to the development and management of intercompany flows within Hager Group.

Your main tasks are the following:

  • In collaboration with the Legal Consolidation team, process intercompany transactions/recharges in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accurate and timely recording of intercompany transactions and recharge flows during month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings.
  • Perform monthly intercompany matching and reconciliation in TM5, and later in SAP ICMR.
  • Manage the elimination of intercompany transactions as part of the consolidation process.
  • Coordinate intercompany topics and requirements with relevant departments and support the creation of efficient, standardized procedures while considering legal and business requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of intercompany processes and procedures, with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.
  • Document established standards and processes and maintain them in the DMS, ensuring all documents remain up to date and aligned with current process definitions.
  • Organize communication within the Finance community.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the centralized ticketing system (HEAT).
  • Define and implement data quality controls and standards to ensure complete and accurate intercompany transaction and recharge flows.
  • Act as the key IT contact for all matters related to intercompany transactions and recharge flows.

Your profile

  • Advanced level qualification, BTEC Higher National Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting or Controlling within an international environment.
  • Strong IT mindset and good understanding of legal requirements related to master data management for companies operating internationally.
  • Solid knowledge of SAP FI/CO and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strategic mindset, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Organized and structured way of working.
  • Ability to assess requirements from different perspectives and provide objective recommendations.
  • Strong customer orientation, ability to work cross-functionally and excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent English. Additional language skills such as French, German, Italian, Polish, Chinese, Spanish or Indian languages would be an advantage.
