We are looking for our future International Buyer Intern based in Obernai for a 6-month internship starting in January 2027.

Your mission :

Reporting to the CAPEX Category Sourcing Manager, you will play an active role in building a CAPEX supplier panel for European production sites while supporting the sourcing strategy for the Machines, Tools & Molds category in an international environment.

The team will rely on you to:

• Develop and strengthen the supplier network, identifying new opportunities and supporting supplier panel management across the Group
• Support strategic industrial projects, working with technical teams to identify innovative and competitive market solutions.
• Contribute to sourcing and negotiation activities, while gaining exposure to supplier management, contracting and purchasing strategy.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of a strategic digital tool (Power BI / Power Apps) used by CAPEX sourcing teams to monitor supplier workload and capacity, enhance data reliability, develop new functionalities, and improve visibility of project risks across international operations.

This internship is a unique opportunity to discover the Buyer and Category Manager roles in a global industrial company. Supported by an experienced mentor, you will develop hands-on skills in sourcing, supplier management and negotiation while contributing to impactful international projects.

The team consists of 12 people:  The CAPEX & MRO team brings together experienced buyers based in France and Germany, combining young talents and seasoned experts in an international environment that fosters learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

Your profil : 

Currently a student at Master’s Degree level in business school, you are looking for an internship of 6 months.

• You are proficient in SAP; MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and have a strong interest in digital tools such as Power BI and Artificial Intelligence applications.
• You are proficient in French & English languages in a professional environment. (knowledge of German language being a plus).
• You are comfortable with international and multicultural contact.
• You know how to show initiative and autonomy and you like to work in a team.
• The industrial environment arouses your curiosity.
