More than an experience: inside Hager’s TAI Community
Starting your career comes with enough unknowns. Feeling alone shouldn’t be one of them. That’s why students at Hager join a community built to help them connect, explore and experience the company far beyond their own role.
From day one, part of something bigger
Students should feel connected from the very beginning — that was the idea behind the TAI Community. Launched in France more than a decade ago and later expanded to Germany, it has become an important part of the early careers experience at Hager.
Connections begin before students even arrive. During pre-onboarding, future members receive practical information, first insights and guidance to help them start with confidence. Once onboard, the TAI Community brings together students across apprenticeship, internship and trainee programs — opening the door to exchanges that go beyond teams, departments or sites.

Shared experiences that go beyond the job
The TAI Community doesn’t live in one event or one onboarding session. It takes shape through shared experiences across the entire student journey.
Welcome sessions, internal conferences, shared lunches, site visits and immersive plant tours help students discover how different parts of Hager work together. Informal activities create space for conversations beyond daily tasks, while cross-site exchanges connect students who might otherwise never meet.
The international dimension is still evolving — but already bringing added value. French-German initiatives have shown what happens when students experience Hager not as one local site, but as a connected organisation. Perspectives broaden, networks grow and conversations often continue long after the event itself. Students who actively engage gain more than contacts. They develop a wider understanding of the business, build confidence in navigating their professional environment and experience Hager beyond their immediate role.
A community that leaves a lasting impression
Sometimes, the clearest proof of impact comes from the people experiencing it.
During the 2025 Graduation Ceremony, a former intern — now working at Hager on a fixed-term contract — spontaneously thanked the TAI Community in front of the audience. He described how it had transformed his experience at Hager, helping him build meaningful connections and discover the company beyond his own role.
