We are currently looking for our futureDirector Corporate Real Estate Management (CREM) (m/f/d)based in Blieskastel for a permanent contract.


As Director Corporate Real Estate Management (CREM) (m/f/d), you will establish, structure, and lead a global Corporate Real Estate Management function for Hager Group. The role combines strategic leadership with operational excellence and acts as a key value driver for the Group.


You will integrate Real Estate Management and Facility Management into one global organization and develop a future-oriented CREM concept aligned with business strategy, corporate identity, employer branding, and long-term value creation. Acting as an intrapreneur with an owner’s mindset, you will steer the global real estate portfolio and ensure sustainable financial and operational performance across all sites.


Your mission

Strategic Leadership & Department Setup

  • Establish and professionalize a global CREM organization, integrating Real Estate and Facility Management into one cohesive unit
  • Define and implement a global CREM strategy aligned with corporate objectives, governance principles, and financial targets
  • Act as coordinator and steersman for all real estate activities, with direct reporting to the Vorstand (CFO) and leadership of a small expert team

Value Creation & Operational Excellence

  • Drive value creation, operating performance, and workplace experience at the main sites in Blieskastel (Germany) and Obernai (France)
  • Ensure optimization of real estate and financial performance across all other global locations
  • Manage CREM as a cost center with a clear and measurable value contribution for employees and internal customers

Brand, Employer Branding & Corporate Identity

  • Ensure consistent corporate identity, brand fit, and employer branding across key locations
  • Leverage workplace design and experience as a driver for attractiveness and engagement

Asset, Lifecycle & Service Provider Management

  • Establish and execute a structured maintenance and lifecycle management concept
  • Oversee external service providers and strategic partnerships
  • Steer major real estate development, transformation, and optimization projects

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align real estate initiatives with business needs
  • Operate confidently in a complex international stakeholder environment


Organizational Model

  • Global line organization integrating Real Estate and Facility Management
  • Value-oriented, business-driven CREM setup across all regions and sites


Your profile

  • Proven senior experience in Corporate Real Estate Management or a comparable strategic real estate role in an international environment
  • Broad generalist expertise across real estate strategy, finance, development, asset and facility management
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing cost centers and driving value creation
  • Demonstrated ability to build and structure functions in low-maturity or build-up environments
  • Intrapreneurial, owner-oriented mindset with high accountability
  • Leadership experience in small, expert teams and complex stakeholder settings
  • Strong conceptual, structuring, and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills at executive level
  • International experience
  • Ideally fluent in German and English; French is a strong advantage
