With univers N and unimes H, Hager offers a comprehensive range of solutions for type-tested power distribution systems in the low voltage range from 800 - 4000A for buildings, industry and infrastructure with distribution systems as well as switchgear and protective devices developed and produced in-house. Supplemented by active/passive arc fault protection systems for maximum personal and system safety as well as ensuring high system availability.

We are strengthening our project sales team and further expanding our position in the German market by providing targeted technical support to our partners in the development and project planning of the most efficient energy distribution systems from 800 - 4000A.


As a Business Process Excellence Senior Manager (m/f/d), you will report to our Head of MDS Program_Project Business. The role is based in either ’s-Hertogenbosch (Netherlands) or Milan (Italy) and offers a permanent contract.

Your Mission:

At Hager, customers are our motivation! In your role as Business Process Excellence Senior Manager (m/f/d) - Project Business  you translate the Project Business operating model into a scalable processes and a tools roadmap across functions. This role drives the design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of core processes, ensuring all enabling tools – digital and non-digital – are aligned, deployed, and adopted organization-wide. It plays a central role in embedding operational excellence into daily Project Business execution, supporting consistency, efficiency, global scalability, and enhanced customer satisfaction.

You will be accountable for: 

  • Leading the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of core MDS Program / Project Business processes across functions and countries.
  • The establishment of a business excellence framework to drive standardization, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Ownership and optimization of the tooling roadmap, ensuring effective adoption of digital and non-digital tools (CRM, CPQ, partner platforms).
  • Change management to enable global deployment, supporting local teams with guidance, templates, and training.
  • Driving process performance through KPIs, audits, and structured improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Building a network of process and tool champions to ensure alignment, governance, and stakeholder engagement.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.
  • More than 10 years’ experience in process design, business enablement, or operational excellence, preferably in project-based B2B environments.
  • Proven ability to operationalize business models through structured processes and tool rollouts across international, cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in process management methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, Agile) and digital workflow optimization.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
  • Structured, analytical, and execution-oriented, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
