With univers N and unimes H, Hager offers a comprehensive range of solutions for type-tested power distribution systems in the low voltage range from 800 - 4000A for buildings, industry and infrastructure with distribution systems as well as switchgear and protective devices developed and produced in-house. Supplemented by active/passive arc fault protection systems for maximum personal and system safety as well as ensuring high system availability.

We are strengthening our project sales team and further expanding our position in the German market by providing targeted technical support to our partners in the development and project planning of the most efficient energy distribution systems from 800 - 4000A.

As a Project Engineering and Competence Centre Senior Manager (m/f/d), you will report toHead of MDS Program_Project Businessin Blieskastel for a permanent contract.

Your Mission:

At Hager, customers are our motivation! In your role you lead the central Project Engineering & Competence Centre to support MDS Program_Project Business with system engineering, digital integration expertise, BIM project support, and structured technical training. You ensure robust technical solutions, efficient processes, and strong competence development to help markets successfully deliver projects.

You will be accountable for:

• Leadership and development of a central engineering and competence team covering system engineering, BIM, and technical training.
• Ownership and optimization of the Engineer-to-Order (ETO) process, ensuring compliant, cost-effective designs for LV distribution systems (Main Distribution Systems, switchboards, busways).
• Building digital integration expertise for connected energy systems and Building Management System (BMS) interfaces, developing reference architectures and guidelines.
• Establishment and management of BIM capabilities, including object libraries, modelling, and project support for key market projects.
• Design and delivery of structured technical training and certification programs for internal teams and panel builder partners.
• Driving process standardization, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement, collaborating closely with global stakeholders, including sales project teams, offer management, supply chain, quality, and IT

Your Profile:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, or a related field, with more than 10 years’ of international project engineering experience.
• Proven leadership of engineering or central expert teams, with strong strategic and organizational skills.
• Deep knowledge of LV distribution systems (Main Distribution Systems, switchboards, busways) and digital building integration.
• Experience with electrical design/configuration tools and BIM platforms.
• Strong stakeholder orientation with excellent communication and training skills.
• Fluent English language skills; German or French would be an advantage.
