Communication Specialist Senior - Executives and Medias Relations(m/f/d)

We are looking for a communication professional who combines strong expertise in media relations with strategic thinking and excellent storytelling capabilities. In this role, you will support Hager's business success by developing, planning and implementing impactful communication activities that strengthen our reputation and visibility among key stakeholders. Your focus will be on media relations, executive communications, corporate communications in France, and crisis communications, helping position Hager as a trusted and forward-looking partner in its markets.

As a Communication Specialist Senior – Executives and Medias Relations (m/f/d), you will report to the Head of Corporate Communications and become part of an international communications team working across multiple countries and business functions.

This permanent position is based in Obernai (67).

You will play a key role in shaping Hager's reputation and strengthening relationships with media, business leaders, public affairs stakeholders and key external audiences.

You will:

• Act as the primary media contact in France, building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, editors and key media stakeholders.
• Develop and implement media relations strategies aligned with Hager's positioning, strategic priorities and business objectives.
• Proactively identify media opportunities, trends and reputational risks, securing earned-media visibility for key company topics.
• Plan and manage media activities, including interviews, press conferences, briefings and press visits, while coordinating external agencies and communication partners.
• Create high-quality communication content, including press releases, speeches, articles and internal or external news materials.

You will also:

• Shape the positioning of Hager's senior leaders through impactful executive communication strategies and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
• Advise top management on communication matters and develop key content, including speeches, presentations and executive briefings.
• Foster relationships with media, institutional and business stakeholders to strengthen Hager's visibility, reputation and business opportunities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement strategic communication initiatives and deliver impactful stakeholder communications.
• Ensure consistency of messaging across audiences, channels and regions, while supporting corporate communications activities in France.
• Contribute to crisis communication preparedness and response, helping safeguard and strengthen Hager's reputation.

What you ideally bring with you

• A Master's degree or equivalent qualification in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Political Sciences, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in media relations, public relations, editorial content, corporate communications, or journalism-style storytelling within an international environment.
• Proven experience working in an industrial, services, energy, construction, project, solutions, or B2B environment.
• Strong expertise in developing and implementing media relations and communication strategies that support business objectives and corporate positioning.
• Excellent knowledge of the French media landscape, with a strong network and demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with trade, business, and economic media.
• Proven ability to proactively identify media opportunities and successfully position corporate messages with key external audiences.
• Experience advising senior executives and developing executive communication strategies and content.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex business topics into compelling narratives.
• Experience creating high-quality communication materials, including speeches, press releases, presentations, interviews, briefing notes, and thought leadership content.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with executives, business leaders, agencies, and external partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English. German would be considered a valuable asset.
